Midwest Division Celebrates Earth Day

Barrett Paving – Mid-Ohio and Midwest Central

In celebration of Earth Day 2025, the Barrett Midwest Division — in collaboration with Barrett Industries — took action to support cleaner communities and a healthier environment. Teams across the region joined forces to remove nearly 400 pounds of litter from a local river, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility.

Making a Measurable Impact

Barrett employees rolled up their sleeves to take part in coordinated cleanup efforts. Altogether, approximately 400 pounds of trash were collected, sorted, and properly disposed of — helping beautify the areas where we live and work.

These Earth Day events were about more than just picking up litter. They represented a shared belief that environmental stewardship begins with personal action and community collaboration. Each piece of trash removed was a small but meaningful step toward preserving natural spaces and reinforcing our core values of sustainability and care.

One Team, One Goal: A Cleaner Tomorrow

At Barrett, we understand the long-term value of protecting the environment for future generations. That’s why initiatives like these go hand in hand with our broader environmental goals — whether it’s reducing waste, improving recycling practices, or promoting responsible materials use in construction.

We’re proud of the Barrett Midwest team for leading by example and showing what’s possible when we come together with a common purpose.

Thank You to Our Volunteers

A big thank-you goes out to all the employees who participated in this year’s Earth Day cleanup events. Your efforts reflect the heart of Barrett’s mission — building a better world, not just through infrastructure, but through environmental leadership.
